Cars were shit years ago so didn't last that long and I never bought new.
Only the Audi has been new but cost more than my mortgage so it had to go.

I used to buy a new car every 2 to 3 years but realised what a waste of money it is. it is far cheaper to buy a car up to one year old and keep it for about 10 years and not bother about resale value eg. bothering to repair little bumps and scrapes. You save an absolute fortune on your monthly output..
BTW. I've had 5 new cars. A metro 2 Rovers a Fiat and a Citroen. I bought my current, a Hyundai, car in 2006 with 9000 miles on the clock.

In nearly 50 years of driving I have owned 10 cars and 6 motorcycles.
Not that many cars really for that time. I did have one of those cars for 16 years - a good old Ford.
I still have 2 cars and 1 motorcycle.
